Flempton Golf Club, established in 1895, is a hidden gem in the Suffolk countryside. The inland links course features traditional pine trees and gorse. Intermingled with mature English hardwood, it lies in a gently sloping landscape.

Beginners  Golf with the club Pro Matt on June – Wed 3rd 1pm, Tues 9th 2pm, Wed 17th 1pm, Wed 24th 1pm. These sessions are for all those who are beginners, new to the club or thinking of joining. Please contact Nicki McMahon on nmc68@live.co.uk to book.

The First Club Match of the 2015 season brought a 4:0 win to Flempton against Newmarket. A good start.

Two Holes in One on the 14th has to be a first for a Good Friday. Congratulations go to both Paul Kent and Andrew Long.

Mixed Socials on the last Friday of the month are proving very popular. The next mixed social will be on April 24th then 29th May. Start times may change. Please sign up in the club house if you wish to join us.

Congratulations go to Nicki McMahon who passed, with distinction, England Golf’s examination on the Rules of Golf. Nicki is now qualified to officiate as an England Golf County Referee at County championships and tournaments.

Course Record: Congratulations go to Mark Rea who broke the course record with 42 points which equates to 63 gross, 64 nett.
