Suffolk Winter Alliance comment on their visit to Flempton on Thursday 18th: 48 Amateur players enjoyed the Flempton course that was in fine condition for the time of year. The greens required more than a casual look as there were many sneaky borrows to be found, they were none the less true if you had the correct line.

Flempton’s version of the Ryder Cup was an enormous success with every single member of the red team playing brilliantly. Unfortunately, no bias here, they were pipped to the post so the blue team have to clean the winning trophy this year. Many thanks to both Lawrence and Paul, the club Pro’s, for organising such a successful event.
