Welcome to the Men’s Section
The Men’s Section at Flempton Golf Club is a friendly and enthusiastic section led by our Captain, currently Andrew Long.
We welcome new members and encourage participation within the section wherever possible. Coaching for both members and those thinking of joining are offered through the year.
Competitions are held in different formats to suit all members with handicaps. Friendly matches against other clubs in Suffolk and Cambridge offer players an opportunity to play on different courses.
An informal social roll up is held on Wednesday at 8:30 through the year and is open to all. It is a great way to meet other members and become integrated into the section.
Inter-club matches are arranged both at a regional and national level.
To find out about membership of Flempton Golf Club, please visit our Membership Section.
Roll Up: Every Wednesday at 8.30am. All members welcome.
All medal, stableford and 9 hole qualifying competition entry sheets are held in the entry book located in the foyer.
Through the year, please look out for competition entry forms pinned up on the notice board and refer to the fixture list.
For the Summer knock-out competitions, the entry sheets will be posted on the notice board in early March. Similarly for the Winter knock-out competitions, the entry sheets will be posted in early September.
Coaching is offered through the year for all, either on the practice ground, the golf course or at the fully equipped training facility at Culford School’s Golf Academy under the guidance of the PGA Golf Professional Lawrence Dodd. Lawrence is joined by Paul Kent, PGA Qualified Golf Professional. Paul can be booked for a coaching session at firstname.lastname@example.org or by ringing 07545 157927.
