After five months, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my start in this new role, and share how much I’ve enjoyed becoming part of the Flempton community.
From day one, the welcome from members, staff and committees has been outstanding. I’ve spent these first months getting to know the course, the clubhouse, the rhythms of the club, and most importantly, the people who make Flempton what it is. Every conversation, every shared story, every “quick chat” on the putting green has helped me understand just how special this place is.
I’ve already seen the pride our members have in their club, and it’s been a pleasure to match that with the same energy and enthusiasm. Whether it’s supporting competitions, smoothing day‑to‑day operations, or simply being present around the club, I’ve genuinely loved getting stuck in.
It’s an honour to be here, and I’m excited for everything still to come. Thank you for making these first five months such a fantastic start.
