Course Status: Open on main greens

Players are encouraged to use equipment that is pre-1990. More strongly, it is hoped that players will use ‘woods’ which are of wood construction and that irons will be of blade design.

Players are encouraged to use the old ‘British size’ ball (1.62 size) and it is an opportunity to dress retro! Ideally, in dress that is appropriate to the vintage of your golf clubs. So, for the organiser Christian McMillan this amounts to golfing attire consistent with the style of the late 1960’s.

The competition will be played from the green tees and this means the length of the course is just under 6,200 yards. Female golfers are welcome to play the green tees although the option of the gold tees (reducing the course to approximately 5,500yds) is available.

Prizes: There are two trophies to play for: The individual nett trophy and the individual gross trophy.

Flempton GC and Christian McMillan look forward to welcoming all participants on the day.
