Flempton’s Mixed Open was held on Saturday 3 September – a lovely summer’s day, warm and breezy and enjoyed by a full field of 24 pairs playing better ball stableford. The winners with an excellent 48 points were Judi & Maurice Robinson from Eaton Golf Club. Runners up with 43 points were Liz & Stephen Harvey (Newmarket Links) on count back from Yvonne & Richard Rogers (Eaton) and Jane & Tom Howard (Rushmere). Many thanks to the greenkeepers and all the bar and catering staff for making it such a success.
