But after 92 years of trying, we’ve done it! Not an umpire, TMO or even a VAR official could take this away from us.
The Flempton Parks Team has achieved what seemed like the impossible and were triumphant at Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club, winning the Suffolk County Parks Trophy. Many congratulations to the whole team, the Team Captain, Chris Tate, for such a monumental achievement. The whole club is extremely proud of you all. We would like to thank the SGU for running and organising the event, the staff and members of Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club for hosting the final.
Finally, a final wouldn’t be complete without two teams. We would like to thank Halesworth Golf Club for making the final the true competitive spectacle it was. The overall scores will never show the true picture; all the matches were close, with both teams fighting tooth and nail for every point. Every match was played in the true spirit of the game, and we wish you the very best in next year’s campaign.
