Course Status: Open on main greens

Sir John Smiley was Captain of Flempton Golf Club in 1914 and presented the club with the Captains Prize a silver trophy which was not played for until the end of the Great War in 1919. This year the Smiley Cup (an 18 hole Medal competition) was hotly contested with the top two performing players only able to be separated on count back after Omar James-Johnson (16) and Simon Lawson (15) both recording impressive net rounds of 67. An honourable mention goes to Jack Miller who came in third after a net 69.

Congratulations Omar!!
