Flempton Golf Club is pleased to formally welcome Tom Huggins as our new Club Manager, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the club both on and off the course.
Tom brings a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills and a clear focus on member experience. Since stepping into the role, he has been working closely with the Board, captains, staff and members to strengthen operations, improve communication and ensure the club is well positioned for the future. Tom has run his own marketing agency for the last 8 years and previously held marketing roles at Framlingham College and Culford School (whom the club have a relationship with).
One of Tom’s immediate priorities has been improving clarity and consistency across the club, from weekly communications and membership engagement to operational structure within the clubhouse. Members will already have seen increased updates, clearer messaging and a renewed focus on service standards.
Tom is particularly passionate about making Flempton a welcoming, well run and forward thinking members’ club while respecting the traditions and friendly culture that make the club so special. His approach is very much hands on, collaborative and member focused. Tom was a member of the club in the past and the Club Scratch Champion in 2022. He is a member at Aldeburgh Golf Club where he was part of the Golf Committee.
Alongside the operational improvements, Tom is also focused on supporting the continued development of the golf course, clubhouse offering and wider member experience. Working closely with Head Greenkeeper Tom Lovett and the wider team, the aim is to ensure steady, sustainable progress across all areas of the club.
With strong early momentum and a clear direction of travel, the future at Flempton looks very positive.
