The Sir John Wood Scorecard is named in honour of the Flempton GC’s first President and original landlord who was President of FGC from 1903 until his death in 1951.
A new 18 Hole composite scorecard for both general and competitive play has been introduced.
The scorecard (below) combines a mixture of holes from all 4 tee-sets allowing players of all standards to enjoy a fresh perspective of the course and for the first time enjoy an 18 hole layout. Despite the reduced length (measuring in total 5274 yards) course management is at a premium and as always a good short game is essential to score well.
